Cloud

  • Cloud is my Siamese/Tabby mix kitten who has brought a tremendous joy in my life. My kitten's fur color and my interest in tech led me to choose "Cloud" as his name. He is my first pet and I learn more everyday regarding his needs, ambitions, and playfulness. He is social, mischievous, and very curious about his surroundings. Cloud shows a kin interest in following the cursor and enjoying his time under the monitor as it gets heated while in use. He has been a great companion as he continues to grow and keeping me active during the COVID time.
  • Learning

  • My journey of learning started with my bootcamp classes and evolved even more through my studies at the Oregon State University. I strive to develop my skills and strengthen my technical knowledge everyday by continuing my education through online courses on Udemy, Pluralsight, and other resources. This way, I can stay at the cutting edge, build my career, and have fun discovering new skills in the rapidly evolving technology landscape. Software engineering is my outlet to bring about my passion and aspirations through learning and developing products that have an impact on solving real-world problems with the hope of inspiring others to do the same.
  • Conferences

  • Promoting education, mentorships, leadership, and networking through conferences and meetups is my way of staying active in my community. Even though almost all of them now are virtual, I believe they are valuable for seeing through eyes of others, learning, expanding my knowlege, and being a part of creating the technologies of the future. I have had the opportunity to attend various conferences throughout my time at school, but this year I attended vGHC 2020 and had the honor of speaking with many company representives and students. #TOGETHERWEBUILD
  • Volunteering

  • Community outreach is important to me as I enjoy being able to help the very people who helped me grow and achieve more. Through my volunteering, I get to know many people from all walks of life and learn more about their diverse culture and life stories. It is rewarding to witness that a small act of love, interest, and kindness goes a long way and can alter someone's life in an impactful way. My involvement with the Women of MENA in Tech organization is an unique opportunity as I get to collaberate with women all around the world who are leaders in our community and inspirations to many.
